What's Next For The Left? will be chaired by former University of Galway historian, John Cunningham, and is open to the public
Speakers include People Before Profit's Paul Murphy TD, Social Democrats councillor Alan Curran, Independent councillor Eibhlín Seoighthe, Labour councillor Helen Ogbu and Sinn Féin representative Mark Lohan.
"I think it's a significant meeting... it indicates a determination to retain the left-wing seat in the upcoming Galway West election," said Dr Cunningham.
