A series of talks on emerging technologies will begin next Tuesday, December 2, at the Hyde Hotel on Foster Street, with doors at 6pm.
The talks, titled Unplugged, are sponsored by Galway-based Datavant, a healthcare data specialist.
Speakers for this event will include Datavant's US-based chief technology officer Josh Builder, and chief product officer, Sam Diederich.
The first event, Unplugged - AI in Healthcare, will focus on AI in health technology, and examine where healthcare companies are making investments. There will be networking opportunities before and after the interactive speaking session.
Unplugged will discuss emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in technology. It will also explore how artificial intelligence is being used to solve business problems and accelerate growth. It will bring together technology professionals and business leaders who are driving technology investment decisions and executing strategies
"Advances in digitisation and automation are opening up so many possibilities to improve efficiency and drive greater value and impact, no matter what industry you are working in. Everyone is trying to figure out their AI strategy, and determine what capabilities and resources they need to realise these opportunities," says Mr Builder, well known in Galway city from his time with Rent the Runway and Signify Health.
"Our intention with this series is to create a space for those leading transformation efforts across different industries to share experiences and insights that can help inform and inspire."
