St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church’s Annual Christmas Fayre

A highlight of Galway’s festive season, St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church’s Annual Christmas Fayre returns on Saturday, November 22, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The Fayre is full of treats, browsing, bargains, music, and socialising inside the city’s most historic building, with its wealth of artistic and architectural features stretching from the Medieval period to the Victorian era.

There will be numerous stalls selling home-produced jams, chutneys, and cakes, as well as bric-a-brac, books, toys, festive arrangements, and a wide array of refreshments.

There will also be a raffle, and people can enjoy Medieval costumes and music at the Fayre. It is also understood that Santa Claus will attend to meet the children of Galway.

The Christmas Fayre is organised by the parishioners of St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, and is a major fundraiser for the 700-year-old building.

Admission is three euros per person. Raffle tickets are on sale at the church.
