Following the success of its inaugural event, the Barna Art Fair is excited to announce its return for a second year. The fair will showcase the work of 25 contemporary Irish artists and will be held at Scoil Shéamais Naofa (Barna Primary School ) on Saturday, November 22, and Sunday, November 23, from 10am to 6pm daily.

Last year’s fair was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the local community and art enthusiasts alike. This year’s event promises to build on that momentum, offering a vibrant atmosphere and a diverse collection of original artworks. The fair provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with the artists themselves, as all 25 exhibitors will be present throughout the weekend, including Elaine Farrell, Donnacha Quilty, Tom Taffe, Dominic McNamara and Ger Folan.

With Christmas just around the corner, the Barna Art Fair is the perfect destination to find a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special. From paintings to sculptures, the fair will feature a wide range of styles and media, ensuring there is something to suit every taste and budget.

“We were so pleased with the turnout and feedback from our first year,” said Paul Cluskey and Saoirse Glynn, the event’s organisers. “Our goal is to create an accessible and engaging platform for both artists and the public. We believe art should be enjoyed by everyone, which is why we have kept entry free and focused on creating a relaxed and welcoming environment.”

Attendees will also have the chance to win an original artwork by Paul Cluskey in a special raffle. Entry to the fair is free, and ample parking will be available on-site.
