Galway firm helps local businesses harness AI to boost sales and marketing

Artificial intelligence (AI ) is reshaping how companies sell and communicate with customers, but many smaller firms are struggling to keep pace.

Galway-based technology company Nuuaa, supported by Galway Executive Skillnet, has launched a new training initiative to help local businesses put AI to work in a practical, results-driven way.

The one-day, in-person workshop “AI for Sales and Marketing Professionals” takes place in Galway on Thursday, 23 October. It teaches participants how to use AI tools to generate content, automate routine tasks, and improve sales and marketing performance.

“AI is transforming how larger organisations operate, but many SMEs don’t have structured guidance on where to start,” said Conor McDonnell, CEO of Nuuaa. “Our goal is to make AI accessible, responsible, and genuinely profitable for Irish businesses.”

A PwC Ireland survey shows that 81 per cent of business leaders expect productivity to rise by more than 5 per cent as AI becomes part of daily operations, yet most SMEs still lack training and governance frameworks.

Nuuaa’s course focuses on practical workflows, hands-on learning, and quality control to ensure every AI output delivers measurable results.

The programme is supported by Skillnet funding through Galway Executive Skillnet, for the first 10 places – galwayexecutiveskillnet.com
