Volvo Car Ireland has announced pricing for the ES90, its latest all-electric premium offering, which is available to order now.
Starting from €82,100 (excluding delivery and related changes ), the introductory Volvo ES90 Single Motor Extended Range is said to offer the refined elegance of a saloon, the adaptability of a fastback, and the spacious interior and higher ground clearance associated with SUVs.
Volvo says this versatile car does not compromise on comfort or space – its confident and distinctive stance, with a slightly raised ride height, provide the driver with a more commanding view of the road. The flowing roofline balances elegant looks with interior space and contributes to excellent aerodynamics, boosting overall efficiency and electric range, according to Volvo.
The ES90 is the first Volvo car with 800V technology, for a longer range and faster charging than any electric Volvo before. The ES90 can add 300km of range in just 10 minutes at 350 kW fast charging stations and offers a claimed driving range of up to 700km under the WLTP testing cycle.
The new ES90 is available with a choice of three equipment grades: 'Core' from €82,100, 'Plus' from €89,900 and 'Ultra' from €102,400 (all prices exclude delivery and related changes ).
At the entry point to the range, the Core versions are equipped as standard with four-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. The seats are upholstered in Nordico (a progressive material created from textiles made from recyclables such as PET bottles and bio-attributed material from forests in Sweden and Finland ).
The Plus versions build on the Core specification with the introduction of heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, the Bose Premium Sound system and interior illumination with the back-lit wood decor gives the interior a unique character during the day as well as when it gets dark.
At the top of the range, the Ultra versions include an electrochromic panoramic roof, tinted rear windows, ventilated front seats, active air suspension and the top-of-the-line Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 25 separate high-fidelity speakers throughout the cabin, including headrest and ceiling speakers.
