Land Rover has revealed a specially designed Defender head of this summer's Women's Rugby World Cup 2025, which will be used to tour the eight host cities across England.
The Defender is a principal partner of the event, having ties with rugby that reach back through the decades. The Defender was a worldwide partner of Rugby World Cup 2023 in France and its role supporting the women’s tournament includes the creation of a Defender 110 Trophy Vehicle, featuring two-tone matte and gloss black bodywork with gold detailing on its alloy wheels, grille and Defender bonnet script.
Constructed in Coventry, this one-off Defender features extended rear glazing and bespoke lighting to give onlookers the best possible view of the trophy as it navigates between the eight tournament locations.
