New all-electric Maxus eDeliver 9 van available to order

The Harris Group has announced the launch of the new all-electric Maxus eDeliver 9, which is now available to order in Ireland.

Priced from €68,510 ex VAT, the new electric van is a larger sibling to the existing eDeliver 3.

It is available in medium and long-wheelbase versions, providing 9.7cu m and 11.0cu m of load space respectively, placing it in the same territory as the Ford Transit. With a gross vehicle weight (GVW ) rated at 3,500kg, and an option of 4,050kg, the new van claims a payload up to 1,700kg.

Its motor is rated at 70kW, with a peak output of 150kW, and 350Nm. Three battery options, a 51.5kWh, 72.0kWh and 88.6kWh are offered, claiming a range of up to 353 kilometres. Fast DC charging, providing 80 per cent of capacity in 45 minutes, and five-hour AC mode, are available.

A range of variants including crew cab, chassis and minibus models is available, together with a variety of specialist conversions.

Mark Barrett, general manager of Harris Maxus, says despite its challenges, 2020 has represented a new era for Maxus, offering customers more variety in terms of zero emission commercial vehicles.

“The eDeliver 9, as the bigger more powerful of our EVs, is the big brother to the eDeliver 3, so our Maxus family is expanding at pace with a chassis variant to arrive in Q2 2021.

“The eDeliver 9, a complete new platform, perfectly illustrates Maxus’ focus on diversification, customisation and reputation," he says.

“Everything about this van is of superior quality and showcases what we at Maxus are all about. We want to make choosing an electric vehicle as easy as possible for customers, whether they are shopping for one vehicle or an entire fleet for their business.

“The eDeliver 9 has it all in terms of spec, space and is 100 per cent electric.”
