The men were injured when the van in which they were travelling crashed into a wall just outside Ballinalack on the main Dublin to Sligo road, at approximately 3.45am on Tuesday morning.

Both men were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, where the driver was treated for shock.
