Rugby coverage kicks off on Friday, January 20, with Leinster’s home game against Castres in the European Rugby Champions Cup from 7.45pm. Crossroads will provide the live entertainment from 10pm.

The exhibition will feature new work by Garry and will respond directly to the architecture and design of Luan Gallery. The Pillar House Folk Club in Ballinasloe has released its spring schedule for the venue, announcing some great upcoming Friday gigs.

The spring schedule is set to kick off with Don Stiffe on Friday, January 20. The Galway singer/songwriter was a finalist in the All Ireland Talent Show in 2011 and has also performed in Ireland and abroad. Stiffe’s debut album Start of a Dream won him vocal cut of the year from the Live Ireland 2010 awards.

Dermot & Dave announce nationwide comedy tour for 2017

Today FM’s lunchtime presenters, Dermot & Dave, have announced a brand new nationwide comedy tour set to hit venues across the country from April 2017.

Entitled the ‘Ah Sure Lookit’ tour, Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore debuted their comedy show at the first Cork Comedy Festival in September of this year and the following month at the Vodafone Comedy Carnival in Galway. Both shows sold out in record time. This is the first time the pair has taken to the stage for a comedy gig, but they are well used to each other, having worked together in radio for more than 12 years.
