It was a wet and wild Sunday night and a storm was brewing up outside. Inside however, it was a different story, a magical one at that. The final pieces of Cloonliffen’s Magical Christmas Jigsaw were coming together. This was it. This was the first time the whole school had come together to perform a musical as one. Lights at the ready, microphones at the ready, but alas, they had to wait for that last flash of lightning before the annual Cloonliffen show could begin.

A limited number of places remain on the Leaving and Junior Cert Christmas revision classes which will be held at the Galway Study Centre from Monday December 30 to Saturday January 4. Teachers will concentrate on key topical areas in each subject and there will be constant emphasis on exam techniques. All classes will be backed up by comprehensive study and revision notes. A wide choice of subjects and times is on offer.

The seminar entitled Effective Communication with Children and Teenagers, took place in front of a packed audience at St John’s Rest and Care Centre, Knock Shrine, and was followed by an extended question and answer session.
