Clare Island charity walk
The fifth annual Clare Island charity walk will take place tomorrow, Saturday June 27 and will consist of a 5k and 10k walk (cyclists are also welcome). The assembly point is Roonagh Pier at 10.30am with departure at 10.45am, the ferry will depart Clare Island at 4.45pm and return to the mainland at 6pm. The cost of taking part is €50 per person or via sponsorship cards and includes bus transfers from Newport, Castlebar, and Westport. For more information call (094) 9029144.
