Westport’s ‘surprising’ new development plan

The draft development plan for Westport which has been circulated to elected members and is now awaiting a proposal to go on public display, has been described by town councillors as “surprising” and “dramatic”, with all of them urging the public to examine and furnish submissions on the plan.

An eight-week session of art classes for children between the ages of four to 12 will commence in the first week of February.
Classes are held on Mondays in the Old Schoolhouse in Kiltimagh from 4pm to 5.15pm and again from 6pm to 7.15pm. On Tuesdays, classes will be in the Curam Centre, Claremorris, from 6pm to 7.15pm, and on Thursdays in the Community Centre, Swinford, from 6pm to 7.15pm.
