Convention on the Constitution seeks submissions from Mayo citizens

In advance of the gathering, the chairman of the convention, Tom Arnold, has urged the citizens of Mayo to participate by submitting their views and suggestions on the Dáil electoral system.

Choral concert in Castlebar

In association with The Gathering, Mayo International Choral Festival (May 23-26) will host a series of ‘On the Edge’ festival fringe events. The first of these events features the internationally renowned UK Reading Male Voice Choir in concert in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar tomorrow May 11 at 8.30pm. They will be joined by the Mayo Male Voice Choir and the senior choirs from St Joseph's and St Gerald's secondary schools.

The festival programme will also be launched on the night showcasing all the festival has to offer to choral lovers everywhere.
