Bryan Adams to headline Westport Festival of Music and Food

The Westport Festival of Music and Food has announced that Bryan Adams, one of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians, will headline the family friendly boutique music festival which takes place in the picturesque grounds of Westport House and Adventure Park in on Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29. Bryan will perform on the main stage on Sunday June 29.

Government engaged in covert attack on Mayo small schools — Calleary

Castlebar Lions Club food appeal this weekend

Today Friday November 29 and tomorrow Saturday November 30 Castlebar Lions Club will be carrying out its annual food appeal. This year’s Lions Club food appeal is in association with Tesco and the members will be carrying out the appeal between 11am and 7pm in Tesco, Castlebar on both days. President of the Castlebar Lions Club, Pat Jennings, has asked for the people in the town and surrounding areas to come out and support this annual appeal. The Castlebar Lions Club will also be hosting a Lions Club food fair in the near future with the proceeds going to Davitt College.
