Enjoy an insightful, illustrated, talk on one of the greatest composers of all time - Ludwig van Beethoven, organised by the Westport Classical Covies.
The talk by composer and musicologist Gerry Murphy takes place in the Wyatt Hotel, tonight at 8pm, and entry is just €5.
Mr Murphy’s talk, which will include excerpts of music, will look at how Beethoven composed many of the world’s greatest masterpieces while battling mental anguish, illness, and poverty.
