Two people were arrested in Ballina on Tuesday following the search of a house in the Bunree Road area.
The Mayo Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Regional Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit, carried out the search, which uncovered drugs with an estimated street value of €6,000.
The arrested man in his 50s and a woman in her 30s were detained at Ballina Garda Station for questioning and subsequently released.
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
