The Carers Association will be hosting one day seminars in stress management for family carers this October. These seminars are designed to provide coping mechanisms for dealing with the high-stress situations many carers encounter while looking after a loved one at home.
The first seminar will take place today Friday October 8 at Nevin’s Newfield Inn. A second seminar will be run on Tuesday October 26 at Mayo Abbey Community Centre.
Seminars are scheduled from 10am to 4.30pm. Fees are €10 which includes lunch. Anyone interested in attending should book a place on 086 377 5702.
