On Saturday December 26 Bass Hunter, aka Jonas Altberg, returns with much interest, the night will continue until the early hours with a house disco reliving all the best music from the eighties.

Sunday 27 will have you laughing and holding your tears back as Neil Delamere brings the house down with his hilarious stand up show. Also on Sunday 27 for a late show is Sharon Shannon with special guests including Shane MacGowan, Mundy, and Damien Dempsey.

Eighties superstars Deacon Blue come to The Royal Theatre for one night only on Monday 28. The band that made the anthem of the eighties ‘Dignity’ will be supported on the night by Republic of Loose.

On Tuesday 29 two great tribute acts take to the stage. An early show sees a throwback to the seventies with ABBA Delicious complete with their white flares and sparkles while the late show is The Irish Pink Floyd, these two great shows can be seen for just €37 in total.

World renowned fiddle player Frankie Gavin returns to Castlebar on Wednesday December 30 with The New De Dannan and includes special guest Dolores Keane.

Ring in the New Year with the Saw Doctors. A great night is planned with music into the early hours. This is a night not to be missed!

On New Year’s Day, what better way to start a new year than with a laugh, and Brendan Grace is guaranteed to do that!

On Saturday January 2 magic is the order of the day as Keith Barry amazes and surprises as he brings his new show The Asylum.

Ronan Collins hosts Reeling in the Showband Years on Sunday January 3 with some of the best loved musicians down the years including Paddy Cole, Tommy and Jimmy Swarbrigg, The Conquerors, and Lorraine Mc Donald. Ronan Collins also performs his tribute to Joe and Dickie. Memories of the old Royal Ballroom in Castlebar will come flooding back as The Royal Theatre asks if you have memories, pictures, or memorabilia from the dances in the Royal Ballroom. A collection of these will be on show on the night and the best story or picture sent in will win top prize of a year’s subscription of tickets to The Royal Theatre for 2010.
