Castlebar Rotary Club would like to thank all the members of the public who supported the Rotary Tree of Remembrance which was held last Christmas.

Once again, it proved to be a great success with all proceeds donated to four Charities - Rock Rose House, Family Carers Ireland, ISPCC and Irish Pilgrimage Trust.

The Rotary Club would also like to thank the following businesses for their support : Golden Sheds; John Mulroy Contractors; Mayo Leisure Point; Horkans Garden Centre; Guineys; Multi Color Corporation; Walter Donoghue Curtains & Blinds, Snap Printing and the TY Students of St Joseph’s Secondary School.

Rotary Club President John O’Donnell, on presenting the proceeds to the four Charities, said: “Castlebar Rotary Club is delighted to undertake this unique project every year as it affords people an opportunity to remember their loved ones in a very tangible way while at the same time contributing to worthwhile local charities. All the recipient charities are very deserving of our support as they all do great work in the community."
