The Shearwater Hotel Ballinasloe in association with Seamus Gallagher is inviting you to join them for ‘Country and Social Dancing’, a line-up of weekend events featuring the who’s who of the Irish country music scene, taking place throughout May and early June.
There are a host of big names lined up as the Shearwater aims to turn Ballinasloe into the country music capital of Ireland.
It all kicks off on Sunday, May 1, when Jimmy Buckley will provide the entertainment from 9pm with support from Stuart Moyles.
On Sunday, May 8, the mercurial talents of Robert Mizzell will grace the stage at 9pm with support provided by John Molloy.
It is the turn of Stuart Moyles on Sunday, May 15, from 6pm to 8pm. Moyles will be followed by the always enjoyable Tommy O’Flaherty from 8pm to 10pm, and Limelite from 10pm to 12 midnight.
On Sunday, May 22, Gerry Guthrie will have the place rocking from 9pm with support from Dermott McConnell. On Sunday, May 29, Blue Ridge provide the entertainment from 5pm to 8pm, with Derek Ryan taking to the stage from 9.30pm.
Tommy Flaherty will be on stage on Sunday, June 5, from 5pm to 8pm, with Declan Nerney providing entertainment from 9.30pm. Patrick Feeney will be on hand to help you dance the night away on Sunday, June 12, from 9pm.
The Shearwater will have lots of attractive rates on offer throughout these weekends for those who wish to stay overnight. Join the Shearwater’s Sunday Club and be in with a chance to win complimentary tickets each week.
