David Martin of the Three Tenors performs at Samaritan Christmas Concert

The annual Samaritan Christmas Concert will take place on Thursday December 13 at 8pm in the Franciscan Friary, Athlone.

It will feature the Army Band of the 2nd Brigade conducted by Captain Fergal Carroll, tenor David Martin, Athlone A Cappella, and Cor Scoil na gCeitre Maistri. Ciaran Mullooly of RTÉ will act as compere for the evening.

David Martin, a member of the Three Tenors Ireland is a true Irish lyric tenor. He has incredible agility, possessing a beautiful Italian quality in his voice.

David began his studies with the renowned Dublin-based vocal coach, Dr Veronica Dunne, in September 2000.

He lives in Dundalk, Co Louth and appears regularly in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. His past concert performances include his Tribute to Mario Lanza, and The Story of John Count McCormack, which also took place in UCH Limerick and in the Dome Tralee, Co Kerry. David has also appeared on RTÉ TV and has performed, on a number of occasions, on RTÉ Radio.
