Located in the Monksland area of Athlone, the newly opened Munnelly Opticians offers eye tests for driving licence, spectacles, contact lenses, and safety and sports glasses. Prescription and non-prescription sunglasses are also available at reasonable prices.
Optician Deirdre Munnelly has some 15 years experience in the business. “The area has an ever-increasing population, and our location offers free parking for customers as well as other facilities close at hand, such as SuperValu, Cunningham’s Pharmacy, Direct Medical, Fintan O’Reilly Solicitors, and Roma Takeaway.
“Our practice also has top-of-the-range equipment including the Topcon Fundus camera which takes a picture of the back of the eye,” explained Deirdre.
Munnelly Opticians have frames to suit all budgets, including those for PRSI and medical card holders. There is a large range of designer frames instore to suit all tastes, including Karen Millen, CK, Tony Morgan, and Jaguar.
