The Athlone GAA supported annual Frank Starken Golf Classic took place on the pristinely prepared fairways and greens of Athlone Golf Club on Friday last.

Always an immensely well supported fundraising occasion, winning enclosure honours was afforded to the team comprising Michael Downes, Philip O’Farrell, Eddie Kelly and Stephen O’Farrell.

Athlone GAA express their gratitude to the occasion’s main sponsor, James Kilroy of Kilroy Tyre Depot and to all those golfing enthusiasts who participated on the day.
