Honda’s updated Civic Type R formally revealed

Honda kicked off the new year with a first look at the updated 2020 Civic Type R high performance hatchback. Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, customers and enthusiasts have been given a glimpse of the new model’s revised exterior.

The pinnacle of Honda’s sports car offering, the three-motor hybrid NSX supercar, also gets an update for 2020. The car will be available in a new ‘Indy Yellow Pearl II’ paint finish. This colour heritage was previously used on the original iconic NSX and S2000 models in Europe.

Created to bring a ‘New Sports eXperience’ to the supercar segment, the NSX is the ultimate representation of Honda performance. Respecting the core characteristics and differentiators of the original NSX, the current generation Honda NSX pursues an altogether new and revolutionary idea for Honda supercar performance. The twenty-first century ‘human-centred supercar’ marries timeless sports car values with next-generation advanced sports hybrid power technologies.
