Donal Courtney will also perform God Has No Country, a show telling the story of the struggles encountered by the “Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican” Monsignor Hugh O’ Flaherty, an Irish priest responsible for saving thousands of lives during World War II.

The Tuar Ard Film Club returns with a great range of specially chosen offerings from international cinema, and there are exciting visual art exhibitions in the Bob Traynor Gallery from artists Loretta Costello and Helena O’Connor, as well as a display from St. Oliver Plunkett Boy’s National School.

This season Tuar Ard have expanded and built on their outreach programme with schools, widening their cultural offerings to those in pre-school, primary school, and secondary school levels. Building on their young audiences in their Schools Programme, they are delighted to introduce a new programme of Family Theatre this season.
