Here comes the sun — Ryanair launches three new routes to the Canaries from Knock

Ryanair has launched two new routes to the sun drenched and hugely popular Canary Islands, with another service to the popular islands due to come on stream in April. The airline now offers flights to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and will add Lanzarote to its ex Knock destinations on April 6. All three routes will operate on a year-round basis.

The addition of these new services will complement Ryanair’s existing network of routes at Ireland West Knock which includes scheduled services to the UK such as Liverpool, London Luton, London Stansted, East Midlands, Bristol, and Leeds Bradford, as well as the existing sun flights to Alicante, Faro-Algarve, and Reus-Barcelona which will all recommence next month.

The Canaries are a hugely popular destination for both summer breaks and winter sun holidays. The islands’ climate is wonderful all year round with temperatures rarely falling below 18C in the winter and rising above 24C in the summer, so it is easy to see why the Canary Islands have long been popular with holidaymakers from Ireland. The Canaries have amazing natural landscapes, ranging from lunar-like volcanic vistas to glorious golden sandy beaches with nightlife, entertainment, and waterparks to suit holidaymakers of all ages.
