€4m broadband investment in Inverin paying off for local community

National Broadband Ireland (NBI), the company rolling out the new high-speed fibre broadband network under the Government’s National Broadband Plan (NBP) is making an investment of almost €4 million to ensure access for over 1,000 Galway homes, farms and businesses in and around Inverin.

The company was in the village last week to meet with local teacher Nora Mhic Dhonnacha who is connected to the NBI network which has made online learning much easier.
