Galway robotics camps taking place in the Galway Education Centre

Colmac Robotics Ltd. an award-winning Irish Edtech company in the field of robotics education are to hold Galway robotics camps in the Galway Education Centre from July 10-14.

To date, over 5000 young people have taken part in these robotics workshops across the country.

“We provide the perfect environment for young people to be creative, innovative and inspired, while learning important skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM ), as well as design and computer programming.

“Why Robotics? It’s simple – Young people want to learn about robots! Robots are cool and interesting and by designing them you learn many useful skills; computer aided design, engineering, physics, computer science and maths as well as a range of practical skills. We provide a platform that allows young people to learn these skills in a fun and stimulating environment,” said a spokesperson.

In our camps, a new activity is introduced each day to teach each of the many different aspects of robotics such as; design, programming, gear systems, sensors and data processing. Our highly experienced and innovative teaching team come from a variety of backgrounds including engineering, science and education. Our emphasis is always on learning while having fun, using top of the range Lego robotics and IT equipment.Mayo camps are taking place in the Castlebar, Westport, Claremorris and Ballina while they also have camps in Galway City from July 10-14.
