The team at O’Hehirs are celebrating after winning three Irish Food Awards at the prestigious Irish Food Awards 2016, held in Dingle recently.

O’Hehirs came away with two silver medals for their Bramley Apple Tart and Chocolate Delight Cake, and one bronze medal for their gluten-free Boston Brownie.

The annual food awards is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland. More than 2,500 products were entered into the 2016 competition across 100 food and drink categories. This is the first year that O’Hehirs has entered the competition, making the five O’Hehirs products in total chosen for merit even more impressive.

In addition to the winning Boston Brownie, O’Hehirs’ Mocha and Caramel Gateaux and Rustic White Vienna were also highlighted in their categories. All products are freshly baked daily in O’Hehirs Bakery. Pop in and try the award-winning cakes and breads at the O’Hehirs nearest to you.
