Title fight for Galway kick boxer

The Galway Minor and Senior hurling teams might be busy preparing for the All Ireland finals on Sunday but so too is Black Dragon kickboxer Catherine Cullinan from Claregalway.

Cullinan, the current IKF senior Lightweight Irish Full Contact Kickboxing champion and Five Nations featherweight champion, will drop down yet another weight division to bantamweight to challenge England's current IKF European champ Tina Harvey for the recently vacated IKF World Bantamweight Crown.

The fight, which will take place in the well known Casino Rooms in Rochester, Kent, on Sunday is the main event on a stacked fight card and is scheduled for seven rounds.

She will travel on Saturday for the official 24 hour advance weigh in, accompanied by her coach Pete Foley before facing the biggest fight of her 12 year kickboxing career.
