Actors’ workshop returns to Galway

The acting for film and TV training course is coming back to Galway and will take place in The Harbour Hotel from Tuesday July 14 to Thursday 16 from 7pm to 11pm.

It will show aspiring actors/actresses how to correctly slate to camera, cold-read for films, audition for commercials, be your own agent, use 10 x 8 headshots, network with castings directors, compile a show reel, get called to auditions, and land parts.

There are 10 places available for actors (beginners or experienced ) who are genuinely interested and prepared to give it their all. Participants must be over 16 with no upper age limit. Over 30s are especially welcome.

The workshop is led by film producer and actors’ agent Shane Munro He was executive producer on the award winning film To Catch A Crow, which won Best Film at the BBC International Film Festival in London and was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
