Discover the magic of Coole Park with a Sunday walk

Discover the magic that drew WB Yeats to Coole Park for 20 summers, and join a free nature walk on Sunday (July 15 ).

The walk in the former estate of Lady Gregory, is suitable for all ages, and will start from the visitor centre and will last approximately an hour and a half. Dogs are not permitted on guided walks, except guide dogs.

The park has re-opened its tea rooms for the summer, under new management with the old team on board, and will service light lunches and home baking from 10.30am to 6pm daily.

The visitor centre boasts the multimedia exhibition of Coole Park through the eyes of ‘Me and Nu’, the granddaughters of Lady Gregory, in addition to the 30 minute biopic film ‘Lady Gregory of Coole’. The centre is open from 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free and last admission is 4.45pm.
