Gardaí investigate claims of assault and false imprisonment in Ardrahan

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of an injured man in Ardrahan at the weekend.

The man, aged in his forties, was found injured at Castletaylor North, Ardrahan, at around 2pm on Saturday. The emergency services were alerted, and he was brought by ambulance to University Hospital Galway for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of this incident, Gardaí are investigating a report of assault and false imprisonment at Manninard, Ardrahan, Co Galway, on Saturday, August 29.
