€6.39 million allocated for flood repairs

Claremorris teacher shortlisted for writing award

St Colman’s College, Claremorris, teacher Majella Kelly, is one of 14 writers to have been nominated for the Cúirt New Writing Award for poetry. Ms Kelly, who teaches English and French in the school, will be hoping her poetry can bring her success when the awards are handed out at the Cúirt International Festival of Literature which takes place in Galway from Tuesday April 8 to Sunday April 13.
