The last two weekends have been very positive for the development of rugby in the Erris area with young players taking part in the Connacht Rugby and Mayo Sports Partnership open days.

Cara Iorrais would like to thank Linda Padden, who organised the Belmullet Rose Competition and donated part of the proceeds (€14,937.50) to Cara Iorrais, and also Christine and Ann Lavelle, who completed the London Hyde Park Marathon and raised €4,530 for Cara Iorrais.

The GOAL Christmas Mile Challenge is taking place in Castlebar on Christmas morning between 11am and 12pm. The walk starts at the carpark adjoining ALDI, Homebase etc and will go towards Lough Lannagh Village on the main road before finishing back at Lough Lannagh.
