Crumlin Hospital charity event

Petworld Limited is holding a multi-branch charity event this Saturday in aid of Crumlin Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin. Each of the branches, Galway, Athlone, and Castlebar will be holding a day of fun and activities on Saturday August 22 from12 noon. They are hoping to raise lots of money for this worthy cause.

RNLI golf classic

An RNLI golf classic will take place on Saturday August 22 at Carne Golf Links Belmullet. This event is now a team of four event. Teams can be all male/female or mixed. Cost of entry is €160 per team. All proceeds to the Ballyglass lifeboats.

Three men appear in court over vicious Ballinrobe assaults

Two brothers and their cousin have appeared in court charged in connection with a Garda investigation into two assaults in Ballinrobe during which one man received serious head injuries and is being treated in Beaumont Hospital and two others were stabbed in the neck.
