In conjunction with the previous Scheme of Community Support for Older People over €1.947m has been approved under the schemes this year, with 445 groups receiving funds nationwide. “I am delighted four Mayo based groups will be receiving significant financial assistance under this latest tranche of funding and that many local older people can now benefit from the scheme.
