As part of the Seachtain na Gaeilge Mhaigh Eo 2011 celebrations in the county, Coiste Mhaigh Eo of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann will host a concert in Castlebar Library on Thursday March 10 commencing at 8.30pm.

Foxford woman Paula Roberts from Toomore has been admitted to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) as a fellow (FCMA). In doing so she has become the only newly qualified member, out of a total of 226 new members, to be admitted as a fellow. Generally new members of CIMA are admitted as associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMAs). Being admitted as an FCMA is an exceptional achievement that recognises the individual’s outstanding strategic management experience.
