The last two weekends have been very positive for the development of rugby in the Erris area with young players taking part in the Connacht Rugby and Mayo Sports Partnership open days.
Special thanks must go to the volunteers involved who helped bring the day to fruition and also to Iorras Aontaithe FC for kindly allowing us to use their fantastic facilities.
It is planned to begin a Mini Rugby Club in the New Year. For this to happen, new coaches and volunteers in the Erris area are being sought. If you are interested in being involved please contact Rugby Development Officer Lyndon Jones on [email protected].
