Ding dong, the bells are going to chime

Top tips on how to prepare to feel great on your wedding day and for life from Motivation Weight Management

Quit dieting

Stop looking at your weight loss as a diet as this implies deprivation. Instead try to refer to your weight management as your life long project versus as battle or a struggle.

Don’t skip meals

You should be eating five times a day; three meals and two snacks. If you eat the right food at the right time you will reduce cravings and you will not feel hungry or deprived.

Drink water

Water helps the body to metabolise stored fat. It helps maintain energy levels throughout the day by reducing dehydration which can cause fatigue. Water also plays a role in maintaining proper muscle tone by giving muscles their natural ability to contract and by preventing dehydration. And if for nothing else, brides to be should drink water as it naturally moisturises the skin and aids cellular formation under the skin giving it a healthy glow.

Exercise

There is no need to pound the pavement every night in the run up to your wedding but be conscious to include physical activity into your daily routine where possible such as a light walk or climbing the stairs. You can then move on to more active forms of exercise.

Laugh

Laughing is like an instant holiday, it dissolves distressing emotions as you cannot feel anxious, angry, or sad when you are laughing.
