Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has welcomed the announcement that Ballyheane Sports Club has been awarded funding under the Community Services Programme.
Ballyheane Community Sports Club will receive €144,000 over the next three years (2011-2013 ), representing an annual grant of €38,066. The annual grant will allow for the employment of two full-time equivalent staff at the Ballyheane Club. The funding is part of the Community Services Programme administered by the Department of Social Protection.
