Ballina firm prepares for return to normal working after crisis

Hopeful for an end to the Covid-19 crisis, Ballina-based Davy’s Lawnmower and Tool Hire Centre is preparing for a return to normal working with its purchase of five new Komatsu excavators to add to their construction equipment fleet.

Supplied to them by Komatsu distributor, McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill and Rathcoole, their new range includes two PC30MR-5 and two PC55MR-5 model midi excavators and one larger, even more robust short tail swing PC138US-11 model.

Configured to meet a varied and demanding range of applications, their purchase is said by company principal, David Langan, to be “another example of our company’s willingness always to invest in the most modern equipment to meet the demands of customers.”

Founded by David Langan in 2000, Davy’s employs a staff of 20 persons and operates from modern premises in the Behy Road Business Park, off the Sligo Road, from where it services an extensive customer base throughout Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal and beyond.
