Two of the three Mayo sides left in the FAI Junior Cup will be in round five action on Sunday - with the third team - Westport United - taking on the winners of the meeting between Balscadden and Liffey Wanders next weekend.
On Sunday, both Castlebar Celtic and Manulla will be at home in the national competition, with the Super League champions taking on Tipperary outfit Vee Rovers and Manulla hosting Springfield from Cork, Celtic's game will kick off at 2pm and Manulla's game will be getting underway at 1.30pm.
Celtic booked their spot in this round of the competition with an 11-2 win over Kiltimagh-Knock United in round four a fortnight ago, with Mayo League player of the year Jordan Loftus keeping up his amazing goal-scoring run, hitting six goals in that win with other goals coming from Neil Douglas, Jason Hunt (2 ), Johnnie Cocozza and Ruairi Nevin.
Their opponents saw off Two Mile Borris 2-1 in the previous round of the competition, they are also just at the start of their league season in the Tipperary Southern and District League and sit in seventh place, with two wins from their five games to date.
Manulla will host Cork outfit Springfield, who beat Rathcoole Rovers 2-0 in the previous round of the competition, with their goals coming from Glenn Kavanagh and Shane Geasley. They ply their trade in the third tier of the Cork AUL in the Murphy's Stout League one and at the moment they are sitting in eighth place in the table, but they have only played five league games this season, with most of the other sides in the division having played at least twice that many. Manulla saw off Ballyheane 1-0 in the previous round of the competition, having dispatched Moy Villa 3-1 in the round before. The Carramore had a solid league season, finishing in fourth place in the standings and having reached the Connacht Junior Cup final earlier in the year, they will be looking to make a further dent in external competitions this weekend.
