Delphi Resort in Connemara will host an outdoor adventure event this October and are now welcoming people to sign up.
The Delphi Challenge will take place on Saturday, October 7, in the beautiful and scenic surrounds of the Delphi Valley on the Galway-Mayo border.
A 14km event, participants will engage in three different activities. Starting with an 8km cycle from Aasleagh Falls alongside the stunning Killary Fjord to Bundorragha Pier, participants will kayak for 1km around the fjord before cycling on to Delphi Resort for a 5km trail run in the Delphi Forest.
There will be an afterparty that evening in the resort where those taking part can enjoy great fun and banter with other competitors, friends and family, with a night of food, drink, and entertainment.
The challenge is suitable for a wide range of people, from novices to those with experience, and people simply looking for some fun with friends and family.
Event-only participation costs €40 per person and Delphi Resort has great one- or two-night event packages available from only €65 per person including dinner.
Delphi Resort is just 30 minutes from Westport and an hour and 20 minutes from Galway. With more than 30 years of experience in outdoor adventure, the resort offers four-star hotel or budget hostel accommodation, a bar and restaurant, a luxury spa, an outdoor adventure centre with more than 20 activities, forest trails and a café, all set in beautiful mountainous scenery.
