The organisers of the multi-award winning Festival of the Fires have added a host of new additions to the line-up for the two-day ‘Gathering at Uisneach’ to take place at the Uisneach Inn on the May bank holiday weekend.
While Festival of the Fires is taking a year off, the team behind it are keeping the flame burning with a spectacular two-day ‘Gathering at Uisneach’ at the Uisneach Inn, located at the foothill of the Hill of Uisneach.
‘Gathering at Uisneach’ will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 4 and 5 and will feature music from international and Irish acts, arts and crafts, family entertainment, fire ceremonies, history and heritage, spoken word, family fun, local food and drink, genealogy and clan finding and, of course, the legendary Uisneach Warriors!
On Saturday, a special outdoor arena will play host to Irish hip-hop-pop kings The Original Rude Boys and The Rubberbandits. On Sunday, Kíla bring their sublime blend of traditional music, together with the brilliant Ryan Sheridan and the band just announced as support to The Rolling Stones, The Riptide Movement.
Other acts just announced to appear over the weekend include The Raglans, The Barley Mob, Walking On Cars, Donna Dunne, Ashley Tubridy, The Driftwood Manor, Fox.E and the Good Hands, and many more, with several very special guests.
