5th Avenue Beauty & Tanning Salon is based in the heart of Longford town. Open since November 2007, the salon boosts a stylish, friendly environment with staff continually updating their skills in Ireland and the UK in the latest treatments available.
Treatments available in salon or to purchase include Elemis skin and bodycare range, Dr Murad Skincare, gel nails and Shellac nails or OPI polish, advanced waxing, He-Shi spray tan, occasional and semi-permanent Novalash eyelash extensions, and semi-permanent make-up.
They also cater for weddings and have a number of wedding packages available, as well as a call-out service for wedding parties.
5th Avenue is also well known for make-up artistry skills. Proprietor Yvonne’s work has appeared in VIP, Brides of Franc, and RSVP Magazine, she has worked as a make-up artist to celebrities including Caroline Morahan, Andrea Roche, and on Brides of Franc. The team at 5th Avenue take time with each bride discussing the look they want to achieve on the day, advising them on skincare, brow shapes, make-up, nails, and the right tan for them on the day. A popular treatment with brides is the semi-permanent eyelash extensions individually applied to your own lashes to add volume and length, giving a sensual, glamourous look that lasts up to four weeks. They can also provide a team to call out to the bride’s house or hotel on the wedding morning, or the bridal party can call into the salon to the spacious new make-up room.
If you are a bride-to-be, make sure you call into the salon and receive a VIP Bridal Mastercard; this is a loyalty card and you can receive up to €60 in free beauty treatments. The salon has lots of new bridal packages in the new treatment booklet, and also provides a free make-up trial once a deposit is secured for the wedding day.
