Athlone Community College will host their annual fashion show in the Marina Suite of the Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday November 2 at 8pm, doors will be open from 7.30pm.
There are various stores, brands and local businesses showcasing their autumn/winter fashion collection so there is something to suit all styles and budgets.
Eileen Donohoe, principal of Athlone Community College echoes the words of the famous French fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent - “Fashions fade, style is eternal”.
“To develop a style however you must look at the current fashions, and this event in our calendar gives us the chance to do so while meeting up with friends and parents from our school and the wider community. It is a wonderful social occasion, brimming with bonhomie and joy and it offers a chance to our glamorous students to shine outside the classroom.”
“It is very much a valued part of our activities and it offers a glimpse of sartorial elegance to us, that is perhaps missing in our daily lives,” added Ms Donohoe.
Ms Donohoe and everyone involved in the fashion show wish to thank all the contributors to the show, all the models, the organisers, those who support the show with their presence, and everybody who contributes in any way to making it what it has become, a towering annual success.
“The success of this show has many educational, cultural, and social benefits for our students and accordingly I am very grateful to all those involved with it and I very much look forward to seeing you all again on November 2 at the Radisson Blu Hotel,” she concluded.
Elements Restaurant at the Radisson Blu Hotel is serving a pre-fashion show three course early bird menu from 6pm for all fashion show attendees for only €20!
