Detox for the new year without spending a fortune with a range of treatments at Vitalite Day Spa, Dublin Road, Athlone.
Beauty therapist Paula Fitzpatrick at Vitalite Day Spa is currently offering four colonic hydrotherapy treatments for the price of three.
The colon, or large intestine, is an important part of the digestive system. It completes the digestive process and handles our food waste and is normally populated by billions of friendly bacteria which assist in detoxifying waste, and help guard us against infection.
Colonic hydrotherapy can help conditions including constipation, diarrhoea, diverticulitis, liver sluggishness, headaches, haemorrhoids, skin problems, bloating, and fatigue. The modesty of the client is preserved to the utmost during the treatment. A greater feeling of well-being is experienced, with an obvious relief from bloating and constipation. The risk of bowel disease is also diminished and nutrients are better absorbed, leading to improved all round health.
A course of four treatments over a four to six week period is recommended. Treatments cost €90 each, or four treatments for the price of three at €270. Customers are not obliged to pay for all treatments up front, but can pay as they go.
Vitalite Day Spa also offers body treatments including the C Spa Body Wrap, which uses marine algae and essential oils to speed up the elimination of fat deposits, activate circulation, detoxify, and promote weight loss. Treatments can be tailormade to suit the customer’s needs, whether it is anti-stress, anti-cellulite, or firming.
The Eve Taylor Body Polish is an exfoliating treatment that includes dry body brushing, a refining body scrub, and the application of essential oils, resulting in a healthy and vibrant glow. This is an ideal treat for those going on holidays, getting a spray tan, or those with dry skin.
