Pat Flanagan has worked the oracle again by convincing John Keane to return to the county panel. I’m sure the likes of Dessie, Gary and Heals played their part too in talking him around. Last year’s captain and double all-star recipient Keane (30 ) will be a major boost to the camp.
Whether he starts against Louth or is held in reserve remains to be seen but I for one will be more confident travelling to Croke Park knowing he is available for selection.
Tommie McDaniels has also joined the panel while speculation is mounting that John Heslin will also be coming on board.
